Hotel La Tour
St Gobain Coolite ST136
Dual Seal has worked with Speedclad to complete the supply of glass for a prestigious new hotel in Milton Keynes called Hotel La Tour.
Utilising St Gobain Coolite ST136 product this glass is very dynamic offering personality to the building.
The hotel is due to open in 2022.
Sandwell Aquatics, Birmingham

Sandwell Aquatics is a state of the art £60 million aquatics centre currently in development in Smethwick. This will be hosting the swimming and diving events for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
The facility will have a 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a 25m diving pool, community swimming pool and seats for up to 1,000 spectators.
Other facilities at the aquatics centre will include:
- three activity studios
- two 4-court sports hall
- 108-station gym
- 25-station ladies-only gym
- indoor cycling studio
- dry driving centre
- sauna/steam room
- new football pitch and changing facilities
- new urban park and children’s play area
- café

Project Norwood, Swindon
St Gobain Coolite SK176 Annealed and Heat Strengthened Laminate externally with Clear Annealed and Heat Strengthened Laminate internally
Project Norwood is a new 100,000sq foot office block over 6 floors for the insurance company Zurich, designed to reflect their focus on sustainability.
The offices will be ‘single use plastic free’ with an ambition of having no printing or filing and the digitisation of all post. Electric car charging will also be installed for visitors and there will be more facilities for cyclists. Further emphasising the focus on the environment, there are plans for a beehive on the roof terrace to boost biodiversity and produce honey to be sold and raise money for charity.
Completion is planned for April 2022, and the overall value of the project is £2.5 million.
One Nine Elms, London
12.8mm Clear Single Laminate
One Nine Elms is a mixed-use skyscraper development in London, consisting of residential apartments and hotel accommodation. It is set to be one of the largest residential towers in Europe.
The value of this project is £4 million.
One Nine Elms is currently under construction.

Circle Health, Birmingham

The new rehabilitation centre, Circle Health, Birmingham, opened, creating 200 healthcare jobs and a specialist centre treating patients with a wide range of injuries and conditions. It will treat patients recovering from neurological conditions and musculoskeletal issues alongside specific services for people with arthritis, heart conditions and those receiving treatment for cancer. Additionally, there will be facilities helping treat those who suffered from the COVID-19 virus.
