Project Norwood is a new 100,000sq foot office block over 6 floors for the insurance company Zurich, designed to reflect their focus on sustainability.
The offices will be ‘single use plastic free’ with an ambition of having no printing or filing and the digitisation of all post. Electric car charging will also be installed for visitors and there will be more facilities for cyclists. Further emphasising the focus on the environment, there are plans for a beehive on the roof terrace to boost biodiversity and produce honey to be sold and raise money for charity.
Completion is planned for April 2022, and the overall value of the project is £2.5 million.
