The £50m refurbishment of the 50 year old Leeds Shopping centre is one of the biggest projects in the UK in recent years. Not only is the Merrion Centre a shopping hub in the centre of Leeds, it is now home to a number of modern, furnished offices.

The multi-million expansion of the Kilner Way Retail Park includes three retail units, smaller shops, a gym and a restaurant. This project provided a huge boost to the local community offering both jobs in retail and construction. Trading tenants include Pets at Home, Poundland, Halfords, Dunelm, Argos, TK Maxx, and Costa.

One of the largest retail developments in Europe, Leeds’ Trinity centre is certainly an eye catching architectural project. Home to over 120 shops, restaurants and bars, this project is one of the largest developments in the UK in recent years. 25% of the centre is dedicated to food and leisure facilities and once the centre opened in March 2013, it attracted over 23 million visitors in its first year, and 120 million visitors in the five years after it opened. The centre adds £150 million to Leeds economy every year.
Trinity is the winner of the ICSC’s Global RECON VIVA ‘Best of the Best’ designed shopping centre in the World award.
Northampton Innovation Centre

The innovation centre provides valuable office space, workshops and incubation units for new and established businesses. The £8.5 million building will also incorporate a café and conference space which will be beneficial to the University of Northampton. The new Rutherglen office is one of the most energy efficient buildings in the UK. The £6m building was the first of a widescale project in the area to redevelop the location in terms of commercial and residential sectors. The modern facade certainly gives the building a futuristic appearance which could reflect the low impact that the whole area has on the surrounding environment.

The new 250,000 sq ft Rotherham Civic Centre is a modernly furnished building located in the south of Rotherham. The stylish building certainly adds style to Rotherham’s city centre and will hope to be a catalyst for further regeneration in the area.

The building situated in the heart of Leeds has undergone a £5m refurbishment. A large part of the refurbishment has been on the external facade with a more modern glazed facade improving the appearance. The 10 storey building is home to luxuriously furnished offices.

This stunning new building incorporates a unique green tint which certainly makes this building stand out in the heart of Newcastle. The frit was applied in advance of the high performance 41/11 coating which makes this building very unique.
